Security Certification Training

 

The Department of Defense insists all of their IT Security employees must be certified.  Why don’t you?

 

Our IT Security training consists of two open certification tracks that are considered benchmark training for IT Security professionals.  In addition to training your staff on the basics required to pass the exam, your students will benefit from our workshop setting.

 

CISSP PLUS

 

Long considered the Gold Standard in IT Security certification, the CISSP designation continues to dominate the security certification landscape.  The CISSP is an advanced security certification that should be held by your directors, managers, architects and engineering staff.

 

SECURITY PLUS

 

Our Security Plus training and its open certification is different from the CISSP in that the Security Plus course deals with more hands-on operational issues than the CISSP designation.  Ideal for all IT staff and operational security staff, the Security Plus training will greatly enhance the security knowledge of your IT workforce.

 

VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT TRAINING

 

Finding vulnerabilities in your systems and network takes specialized tools and knowledge.  With our VA training, your staff are prepared to find and rectify security issues in your network immediately.  We not only supply your staff with the open source tools used to conduct VA’s, but we also train them on their use and remediation planning.

 

 

IT Mentoring Services

Our Mentoring service acts as both training and implementation in one cost-saving solution.  During these sessions, your people are trained on the implementation and/or operations of the security solution for your newest security procurement.

 

Using our exclusive “round table” approach, your people discuss, learn and implement and the system you have invested in.  This results in a completely functional system that adheres to your security policy and is fully understood from day one.

 

For an example of our value proposition, consider your next security appliance deployment.  You need to ensure this implementation is not only done, but it is done properly and designed for maximum availability.  In as little as one week, we will train your staff on designing, implementing and operating your system.  During the round table discussion, your mentor gets an overall understanding of your needs from your staff.  Recommendations for design and/or operation are made by your mentor and changes to the design are made as per your particular needs.  Once designed and configured, the system is documented by either your mentor or your staff.
